Teacher of the Year Award 2020
Congratulations! You are among the 21 university lectures, which have been nominated for the University's Teacher of the Year Award 2020. The award is awarded annually to one of the University's lecturers, part- or full time employed, for good and inspirational teaching. Read more about the award here.
The prize is awarded at the Commemoration on November 6
The Teacher of the Year will receive the award at an award ceremony at the annual commemoration ceremony on Friday November 6. The winner receives a porcelain owl and DKK 25,000.
Who nominates candidates for the award?
Every one of you have been nominated by students that believe they have the best lecturer at the university. The students have nominated you because they believe each of you meet the criteria for receiving the Teacher of the Year Award. You will find the criteria on the website linked above.
Who will select the winner?
It is the University’s Academic Board on Education Strategy (KUUR), who will decide the winner of the Teacher of the Year Award on the basis of the nominations. KUUR will decide who is the Teacher of the Year during June.
The Teacher of the Year will be notified directly
When the KUUR has decided on the award winner, the winner will be contacted directly. All of you who have been nominated will also be informed about the winner of the award.
News about the nominees for this year's awards
Today, Thursday May 28 we will publish news on KUnet that state the nominees for the awards that will be awarded at the commemoration. Here you will also be able to read who have been nominated for the two other awards, the Innovation Award and the Study Environment Award, which also will be awarded at the commemoration.
