Hans V. Hansen is a Fellow of the Centre for Research in Reasoning, Argumentation and Rhetoric (CRRAR) at the University of Windsor, a co-organizer of the biennial conferences of the Ontario Society for the Study of Argumentation (OSSA).

Currently, his interests are in the history of logic and ethics, argumentation theory, and the philosophy of John Stuart Mill.
