4Cities: Foreign cities, foreigners in the city
This conference addresses the experience of foreigners in big cities. This experience is frequent in an era haunted not only by migration by also by business travelling and tourism. Sometimes the residents themselves become foreigners in cities which appear strange or even alien and unhomely but also sometimes inviting and exotic.
Organized by Center for Urbanity & Aesthetics and by Urban Culture Lab, University of Copenhagen, on behalf of 4Cities - Erasmus Mundus Master Course in Urban Studies (4cities.eu).
